How PINless Dialing Works
1. The customer dials an access number prior to entering the destination number for a long distance call. 2. The system recognizes the customer’s registered phone number as the PIN, eliminating the need to enter a separate PIN for authorization. 3. The customer is prompted to enter the destination number. 4. The system plays an optional recording identifying how many minutes are remaining. 5. Customers can also dial the access number when away from home or personal cell phone. In these instances, the system automatically prompts the customer for their PIN to place the call.
